Lady Gaga Showcases Our Graduates at Coachella

Lady Gaga’s Coachella outfit was impossible to miss. Unveiled with flair across social media, the look was nothing short of a textile sculpture: dramatic wings, a voluminous overskirt, a feathered jacket, and a slashed corset—each element charged with powerful symbolism and the duo’s unmistakable style. The superstar seemed to channel a being from another world, perfectly aligned with the dreamlike, subversive universe Matières Fécales is known for.
Elevated by Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons, the duo has already made waves with high-profile projects alongside Balenciaga, Louboutin, and Madonna, as well as standout features in Vogue, ELLE, Vanity Fair, Numéro, Dazed, WWD, and more.
It all began at our College, where Hannah and Steven first met. Their shared vision led them to create a brand that pushes boundaries, with a name as bold as the unconventional designs they produce. Today, they represent a new generation of creators—driven, fearless, and free.
We are incredibly proud of our graduates. Their success is a testament to the fact that innovation, authenticity, and passion are the true forces behind contemporary creation.
Matières Fécales doesn’t just follow trends—they set them. And Lady Gaga, a true icon of artistic freedom, recognized that instantly.
