We are proud to celebrate the phenomenal success of our graduates, who made history in fashion with the debut presentation of their collection at Paris Fashion Week.

They are the first Montréal designers to be part of the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.

Vogue, ELLE, Vanity Fair, Numéro, Dazed, WWD... Everyone wants to know Fecal Matter!

This bold show, created by visionary designers Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, captured the attention of the world and was covered by the biggest names in fashion journalism: Vogue, Vanity Fair, ELLE, WWD, Hypebae, Numéro, Dazed, Teen Vogue, i-D, Vogue Business, L'Officiel and more. Unprecedented recognition for this young and thriving brand.

A bold and unsettling collection

Their show emerged as a raw and vibrant statement on identity and resistance to oppression. "This collection is the act of daring to be oneself, even when the world pushes you to stay silent. It’s the pain of exclusion, but above all, the resilience to rise and move forward every day," the designers share. It is a tribute to those who, despite mockery, rejection, or fear, find refuge and a space for free expression in art.

The pieces displayed a striking balance between brutality and dreamlike qualities, blending classic elegance with provocative and unsettling silhouettes. From the Italian cashmere wool suit worn by Hannah, to the shearling jackets and concave bombers, each creation told a story of inner metamorphosis. While drawing inspiration from the aesthetic codes of designers like Rick Owens, the collection explored fashion as a field of experimentation, a space where clothing becomes a manifesto of power and vulnerability.

Louboutin-Designed Footwear

The collaboration with Christian Louboutin for the shoes was a masterstroke for this collection. The sculpted heels, with their deformed appearance, drew all eyes, adding a touch of defiance and power to each silhouette.

A renowned guest list

This show was not just a simple fashion event, it was an act of collective creation and expression. Iconic figures like Lewis G Burton, transgender performance artist, and Debra Shaw, the iconic model, embodied this radical vision, proving that fashion can be a powerful vehicle for social change.

In the front row, a gathering of icons captivated attention: Chappell Roan, freshly crowned at the Grammy Awards, was conversing with designer Rick Owens and his wife Michèle Lamy, pillars of avant-garde fashion.
