Remote learning is now a major component of our program offering. LaSalle College offers different methods of instruction so that you can enjoy the full experience right from home. Several initiatives have been implemented to ensure you get an unparalleled student experience, on campus or online.

Your classes will be on the Montréal or Laval campus (on-site) and on a set schedule*.

* Most of the courses in this program will be held on campus, however, up to 40% of the course hours may be offered online.

- Want to experience student life and participate in extracurricular activities.

Take your classes 100% online using two different learning tools:
- Interactive independent learning material (asynchronous)
- Virtual live guided sessions with your tutor and other learners (synchronous)
Using the Microsoft Teams Classes platform, you’ll be able to access the material as often as you like and meet your tutor in a virtual classroom two evenings a week.
This learning method is flexible and adapts to your family and work obligations.

These short AEC courses are designed for employees, job seekers, parents or employees on parental leave who:
- Want to upgrade their skills and get a better position.
- Want to retrain for a different career.
- Wish to have flexibility during their studies.
- Do not want to travel to downtown Montréal.
- Live out of town, in another province, or even another country (in a time zone that allows them to attend the weekly evening support sessions).
Get recognized training provided by a teacher in real time without having to leave the house!
Training provided entirely in distance mode, with a teacher and in real time (synchronous). Two attendances per semester may be required on campus for a maximum of 15 business days, to help you bond with your teachers and classmates.
With the Microsoft Teams Classes platform, you’ll be able to attend classes in real time. You can discuss with your teacher and fellow students, view presentation documents and do practical exercises on your own or with a team.

Real-time remote learning is a great option for those who:
- Do not wish to travel to downtown Montréal.
- Wish to develop their skills in order to obtain a higher position or for professional reconversion.
- Live out of town, in another province, or even another country (in a time zone that will allow them to follow a set schedule).
- Are interested in taking a class in real time and on a set schedule, in the comfort of their own home, at a coffee shop or even at work.
Complete a recognized training, given by a teacher online, while taking advantage of our modern facilities, in hybrid mode!
Training that combines real-time remote learning and on-campus learning modes. Some of your classes will be offered in classrooms on the Montreal or Laval campus, while others will be offered remotely, but in real time and on a fixed schedule.
With the Microsoft Teams Classes platform, you’ll be able to attend classes in real time. You can discuss with your teacher and fellow students, view presentation documents and do practical exercises on your own or with a team.
Some or all of the group may also attend classes in real-time remote learning. Exams may require your presence on campus.

Real-time remote learning is a great option for those who:
- Are enrolled in technical programs that require them to be on campus on a regular basis; students will thus have access to specialized equipment and facilities.
- Wish to have an experience made up of social interactions, both with their teachers and with other students, but who occasionally wish to avoid travelling.
- Be involved in student life and participate in person in extracurricular activities.
