About the Program

The LaSalle College's 3D Production and Image Synthesis (Profile in UI/UX design) DCS program is an interdisciplinary program that trains learners in the design of interactive visual software. At the crossroads of programming and design, this unique curriculum focuses on interface design and user experience, combining elements of digital modeling and animation with cognitive psychology and software development fundamentals. Learners develop both technical and artistic skills, enabling them to design and prototype immersive visual environments suited to the web, video games, virtual reality, and industrial simulation.

Beyond technical skills, this program fosters entrepreneurship, preparing graduates to enter the information technology sector or start their own business. With a strong emphasis on both static and dynamic digital image synthesis and user-centered interaction design, learners will be ready to tackle industry challenges and innovate in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Admissions Criteria

Exceptions to these admission criteria may be applied.

Every application is reviewed by the College.

To be eligible for acceptance into this program, applicants are generally required to meet one of the following criteria:

  • Secondary School Diploma (DES).

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) with completion of:

    • Language of Instruction from Secondary V,

    • Second Language from Secondary V,

    • Mathematics from Secondary IV.

  • Equivalent education or an instruction deemed sufficient.
