A Week to Celebrate Those Who Shape the Future

The week of February 2, 2026, was marked by a strong spirit of appreciation at Collège LaSalle as the community celebrated Teachers’ Week. It was a meaningful opportunity to recognize the dedication, passion, and professionalism of those who play a vital role in student success every day.

Throughout the week, various initiatives were organized by the College’s teams, in collaboration with AGEL, to express collective gratitude toward the faculty. These thoughtful gestures highlighted the essential contribution teachers make to both the academic and personal journeys of their students.

Beyond the celebrations, the week underscored the lasting and positive impact of educators. Through their expertise, availability, and daily commitment, they foster an engaging learning environment built on excellence, care, and real-world relevance.

One of the highlights of the week was the nomination of Hani Samuel for the Peer Recognition Award. A Hospitality Management instructor with 19 years of experience, Hani is widely respected for his expertise, professionalism, and dedication to high-quality education. He stands out for his rigorous yet human approach, natural leadership, and deep industry knowledge—qualities that make him a valued reference among both colleagues and students.

This recognition reflects not only his exemplary career, but also the strength and excellence of the College’s faculty as a whole.
