A donation site was set up at LaSalle College on Monday 11 September to help our Moroccan friends, colleagues and students
The response was so great that the team of volunteers at the Collège had to move the donation stand to a larger space.
"Since we opened, the Moroccan and Montreal community has really rallied round to help those hit by the earthquake. As an institution, we are proud to be taking part in this humanitarian aid effort," says Adib Lahlou, Director of Student Experience and co-organiser of the collection, whose family lives in Rabat.
LaSalle College opened its doors in Morocco almost 35 years ago, with its very first international campus in Casablanca. Today, we have 4 campuses in the country, including one in Marrakech, close to the epicentre of the earthquake.
