"I am a Fashion Styling graduate from LaSalle College. For my graduation project, the topic to cover was love (Valentine's Day). I decided to work on the other side of the coin: violence against women in their love relationships. I find that this is a trivialized subject whereas last year (2021), 26 women were killed in Quebec, the majority of them in a conjugal context. So I dealt with this subject by putting together dramatic looks with deep makeup, which shows this violence against women. I wanted to demonstrate that love does not equal killing." - Fatima Elaiba
