Discussion with Markantoine for the Semaine mode de Montréal

On September 22nd, during the Semaine mode de Montréal, our graduate and fashion lecturer, Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert, will be speaking about his experience on Making the Cut.

The designer behind the skatewear brand, MRKNTN, has already established his name on Quebec’s scene for several years, but his participation in the American show opened the doors to the international scene and gave the Montreal fashion industry a great platform!

During this event, we will also broadcast an episode of the TV show, where the audience will be able to discover his style, his creative process and what set him apart from the other designers on the show.

The event is free and open to all our students as well as the general public!

Markantoine on Making the Cut

Markantoine was one of 10 designers, selected from all around the world, to be featured in season 3 of Making the Cut, which was hosted by none other than Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum!

As the only designer to do streetwear, Markantoine stood out with his unique and flamboyant style! Throughout the adventure, Markantoine remained true to himself and his style. His authenticity and professionalism charmed the audience. This was a very rewarding experience for him, and he is now ready for whatever the future holds.

The show was filmed in December 2021 in Los Angeles and is currently available on Prime Video.
