Are you looking for a summer job or a part-time job during the school year? Are you in your final year of studies and need help in your job search?
The Career Services, accessible to LaSalle College students and graduates, aims to guide them towards their successful integration into the labor market, enhancing their training, their expertise and their success and encouraging networking and cooperation.
Here a few ways of taking advantage of the many services:
Career Services is constantly and closely attuned to the job market as well as companies in all fields related to your program of study.
It sponsors many activities in order to promote networking with different stakeholders in the employment industry. These activities include:
- Career days
- Speed dating job interviews to help students in their final year with their job search
- Conferences given by employers from fields related to the different programs
Career Services, in partnership with the Réseau des carrefours jeunesse-emploi (youth employment network) of the greater Montreal area, offers, free-of charge:
- Assistance in writing resumes and cover letters
- Assistance in interview techniques and simulations
- Workshops dealing with job market preparation and job search
- Workshops for preparing students for Work-Study Program internships
- Job-market-related tools and documents for consultation
- Lifelong access to a service providing job offers related to their field of study for students from LaSalle College
