Workforce Training Measure
The Government of Québec has put in place programs to help people who are unemployed update or develop their skills in order to pursue a career in various fields in demand.
At LaSalle College, all of our programs are eligible for support from Workforce Training Measure
Eligibility
- be at least 16 years old
- have stopped going to school full-time at least 24 months ago, except under certain circumstances mentioned at your evaluation
- having difficulty finding or keeping a job because of your lack of training
- wanting to make a major career change
- meet the training program’s eligibility criteria
Registration Process
- Fill out the registration form (in French).
- Meet with an agent at a Services Québec employment office and request a referral. The agent must refer you to the Services for Partners platform.
- Prepare all your documents.
- Make an admission request.
- Apply for loans and bursaries, if applicable.
- Provide your documents to the admissions office. Follow the steps of the registration and admissions process.
- If all requirements are met (including accepted loan and bursarie application), a contract will be sent to you.
- Pay your registration fee, sign your contract and return your signed contract.
