LaSalle College Produces and Dresses Éléonore Lagacé’s New Music Video

LaSalle College is proud to announce the release of Sashay Away, Éléonore Lagacé’s new music video, partially filmed during the spectacular When Fashion Dances runway show, which took place on the main stage of the M.A.D. Festival on August 22.
“Clothing and dance share a common trait: they both transcend themselves when in motion. The fusion of these two art forms is yet another great celebration of the talent of LaSalle College graduates and our artists,” says Andrew McNally, Dean of Fashion at LaSalle College Montréal.
This vibrant video captures a unique moment where the creativity of graduating Fashion Design students met the talent of some of Québec’s greatest dancers. Among them: Lydia Bouchard, the master choreographer from the TV show Révolution, as well as many of the show’s stars from various seasons, including Sean Wathen (B-Boy and latest season winner), Jason (winner of season four), the Bégin Sisters, Taminator, Yannick Fahey, Eliana Todaro, Yelda Del Carmen, Justin Jackson, Danny De Matos, Alex Francoeur, Guillaume Michaud, Amélie Albert, Jordan Raymond, Santiago Santamaria-Correa, William Nicolas Tanguay, Seb Leroux, Justin Verreault — and other big names in dance such as Kim Gingras, Vincent Noiseux, Jayme Rae Dailey, Citron Rose, Gérard x Reyes, BHP Twins, Lou Amsellem, and Merryn.
“I consider myself extremely lucky to have been part of this unforgettable performance alongside such exceptional dancers at the M.A.D. Festival. Thank you to LaSalle College and to Andrew McNally, to whom I can never say no artistically. Congratulations to all the designers and the amazing production team who made the music video for my song Sashay Away,” says Éléonore Lagacé.
The song Sashay Away is the third single from Éléonore Lagacé’s album Brûlez-moi vive, released last spring. The music video serves as a visual ode to boldness, artistic expression, and the synergy between fashion and movement. It was directed by Arjuna Boucher-Pertuisot of Tao Films.
A Collaborative Project to Celebrate 25 Years
A proud partner of the M.A.D. Festival since its inception, LaSalle College is delighted to mark the festival’s 25th anniversary with this special commemorative music video celebrating fashion, entertainment, and Québec talent.
“To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the M.A.D. Festival is proud to unveil a music video filmed during its most recent edition, which drew no less than 700,000 festivalgoers. A loyal partner since its beginnings in 2000, LaSalle College plays a key role in connecting emerging talent with the public and showcasing the M.A.D. Festival and its artists, both locally and internationally,” says Chantal Durivage, EVP of Creative Development and Founder, M.A.D. Collectif.
