Exploring the Heart of Fashion: Our Last Fashion Trip to NYC

New York City, a global fashion capital, served as the perfect backdrop for our last Voyage Mode Collège LaSalle (VMCL), which is always an unforgettable educational experience for our fashion students.

New York City, a global fashion capital, served as the perfect backdrop for our last Voyage Mode Collège LaSalle (VMCL), which is always an unforgettable educational experience for our fashion students. Over three exhilarating days, our students had the chance to explore the industry firsthand, engage with top brands, and connect with successful alumni.


Day 1: A Deep Dive into Fashion Culture

The journey kicked off with an insightful Alumni Panel. Students had the unique opportunity to engage with graduates of LaSalle College, now residing in NYC, who have successfully carved out careers in the fashion industry. These professionals shared their journeys, challenges, and valuable advice for aspiring fashion enthusiasts. Here are just a few of our alumni composing the panel:

The afternoon featured an exclusive visit to KITH HQ for a "Behind the Seams" experience. This insider look at one of the trendiest streetwear brands allowed students to understand the creative and operational aspects of the business. Afterward, they enjoyed some free time in Brooklyn, soaking in the city's vibrant energy before heading back to the hotel.

Day 2: High Fashion and Brand Insights

On Friday, students immersed themselves in the luxury retail world with a visit to Bergdorf Goodman, one of the most prestigious department stores in the world. This experience provided a unique perspective on high-end fashion merchandising and customer experience.

The day continued with an exclusive tour of Centric Brands, a powerhouse behind many well-known fashion labels, including Coach, AllSaints, Micheal Kors, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, and more. Students gained firsthand insights into brand management, product development, and the strategic direction of major fashion houses.


Day 3: Inspiration and Shopping

The final day began with an optional visit to The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), and concluded with an exciting shopping experience at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, home to brands like Balenciaga, Dior, and Givenchy.
