Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle (SMCL22)

Our second year Fashion Marketing students invite you to the ninth edition of the annual Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle (SMCL). The event will present this season’s trends in three fashion shows: Asphyxie, Guestlist and Poison.

When and where?

The presentations will take place on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at 4PM, 6:30PM and 8PM, at LaSalle College in Salle Jean-Paul-Morin (2000, Sainte-Catherine Street West, Montréal).

Tickets for SMCL22 are available for $20 and $40 for VIP tickets on the Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle website through Eventbrite.

Here is a glimpse of the three concepts that will be presented:

Asphyxie

The global pandemic has disturbed the psychological balance of Gen Z and has led many into an asthenia of social and emotional isolation. Breathless from this trauma, the generation is finally showing an explosive desire for freedom. The Asphyxie fashion show allows the expression of emotions and personality through punk and ravecore fashion.

Guestlist

What will you wear? Who are you going with? What drink will you have one too many of? Here, your gender, size, colour, shape, worries, and stress don’t matter. What matters is the music, the lights, the energy, and not fading into the background… but you must first get in line.

Poison

Love can be perceived in so many ways- sometimes beneficial and other times, to our own detriment. To get caught up in the honeymoon stages of a relationship is almost inevitable, although, if and when it turns to poison, the capability of seeing red is at an all-time high.

The Fashion Presentation course, offered in the third semester of the Fashion Marketing program, allows students to practice the theory taught in their courses when setting up an event. LaSalle College is proud to offer its students such professional experience in the industry.
