A 2019 graduate of the DEC in Computer Science Technology, Moustapha Koleit is now IT Director at Mad Science Group in Montreal. 

His journey did not stop after graduation. Driven by a constant desire to learn and grow, he pursued diverse professional experiences, including teaching at an institute. 

Today, he operates in a strategic role that combines leadership, technology, and business vision. 

From Developer to IT Director 

Moustapha followed a non-traditional path, gradually evolving from a developer role to IT Director. 

This progression reflects his strong work ethic, his ambition to grow, and his ability to seize opportunities throughout his career. 

Role and Responsibilities 

As IT Director, he leads a team by providing direction, managing performance, and supporting existing systems during a major digital transformation. 

He is responsible for: 

  • Leading the full implementation of a new ERP system (planning, testing, deployment, and training for over a hundred franchisees) 
  • Implementing a new CMS to modernize the company’s online presence 
  • Promoting best practices in IT operations, data security, and systems integration 

He also ensures clear communication with leadership and oversees IT department budgeting.
