Overview

The Event Planning and Management program trains you to become an event planner who coordinates online and onsite events, from concept to execution. Develop the creativity, organization, and teamwork skills to manage weddings, conventions, fundraisers, and festivals, and to produce memorable, one-of-a-kind celebrations.

This program is offered exclusively in French at LaSalle College Montréal. If you wish to enroll in the English program, please refer to the program available at LaSalle College Vancouver.

About the Event Planning Course

The Event Planning and Management course teaches you to coordinate online and onsite events from first concept to final execution. Across the program, you build the logistics, budgeting, marketing, social media, and content skills used to plan corporate meetings, galas, festivals, weddings, fundraisers, and sports events. You coordinate vendors, schedules, and resources, manage shifting workflows under pressure, and apply industry best practices so every event is delivered and completed down to the smallest detail. Throughout the course, you also build experience within a community of students and industry mentors. This event planning course is part of our tourism and event management field of study at LaSalle College Montréal.
