LaSalle College is proud to announce a major partnership with Club Tissus, a Québec textile leader since 1992. Starting March 2, a new Club Tissus store will open in downtown Montréal at 2110 Sainte-Catherine Street West, just steps from LaSalle College.

More than a convenient location, this partnership has a clear purpose: to strengthen Montréal’s fashion ecosystem around our Fashion School and give our students even more direct access to the materials, tools, and inspiration they need to create, experiment, and push their craft further.

A partnership designed for the realities of studying fashion

This new retail space becomes a natural extension of the student journey. Club Tissus is bringing over $750,000 in fabrics and sewing supplies, carefully selected in collaboration with the Fashion School’s faculty team to meet the real needs of courses, studios, and projects (patternmaking, garment construction, prototyping, collections, and more).

In short: less friction, more choice, and materials aligned with today’s industry standards and trends.

What it means for our student community

1) More independence—and more ambition in every project

Faster access to a rich, student-relevant textile offering helps students work more efficiently, take creative risks with materials, and move projects forward smoothly—from first prototypes to final pieces.

2) A new source of inspiration just steps from campus

Club Tissus will also offer exclusive finds, including end-of-collection fabrics and unique materials—fuel for creativity and a powerful way to develop a personal signature.

3) A free membership card + discounts

All LaSalle College students can receive a Club Tissus membership card for free (regular value: $25/year).

Another proof point: Fashion in Montréal happens at LaSalle College

When a major textile retailer chooses to establish itself in the heart of the city in partnership with our institution, it’s a strong recognition of LaSalle College’s role in shaping the future of fashion in Québec.

Our goal is simple: deliver a student experience that’s connected to real-world practice, to industry, and to a vibrant creative community—and this partnership is a tangible example of that commitment.
