SIGNATURE 2024: A Fashion Show that Surprises with Innovation and Creativity

During the LaSalle College Festival, Montréal vibrated to the rhythm of fashion during our prestigious SIGNATURE fashion show.

On May 16th, during the LaSalle College Festival, which kicked off the celebrations for our 65th anniversary, the Pavilion of the Grand Quai of the Port of Montréal vibrated to the rhythm of fashion during our prestigious SIGNATURE fashion show. This annual event gathered an enthusiastic audience for three full-housed shows, celebrating the innovation and creativity of our Fashion Design graduates.

With over 250 breathtaking creations, spectators were transported on a visual journey through the collections of our students. From avant-garde silhouettes to eco-friendly pieces, each creation showcased the expertise and passion of our young designers.

The show also highlighted our international talent, with collections presented by students from other LCI Education campuses: LaSalle College Vancouver, LCI Barcelona, and Collège LaSalle Maroc.

Celebrities and Fashionistas: A Strong Presence of Fashion Personalities

Several influential personalities from the fashion industry were present to support our young creators. Among them were Émily Bégin, Sophie Durocher, Lolitta Dandoy, Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert, Shanti Corbeil Gauvreau, Sara Levitt, Marjorie Paquette, Brendan Mikan, Marco Edouard, Gaël Comtois, Marie Gagné, Gabrielle Marion, Tom-Éliot Girard, and of course, our official spokesperson for the event, Éléonore Lagacé.

The presence of well-known personalities in the fashion industry is invaluable for our graduates, who feel a great sense of pride in presenting the fruits of their labor to the general public. It is an excellent opportunity for them to get noticed and attract attention to their creations!

Innovation and Sustainability: A Complete Experience for Our Spectators

Alongside the fashion show, a pop-up store offered unique and eco-friendly pieces from the SGNTR collection, designed by our graduates, in collaboration with Reitmans. This project allowed visitors to discover and purchase innovative creations while supporting sustainable fashion.

The phygital experience offered on-site was another highlight of the evening. Guests could have their own 3D avatar produced. Additionally, each graduate had immortalized their favorite creation as an avatar, offering spectators an immersion into their unique universe.
