Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle 2026: Plausible Futures
- November 14, 2026
- 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Salle Jean-Paul-Morin, Collège LaSalle, 2000 Sainte-Catherine Street West, Montreal
The 13th edition of Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle (SMCL) will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026. It showcases the work of second-year Fashion Marketing students at Collège LaSalle.
This flagship event celebrates the creativity, bold vision, and emerging talent shaping the next generation of fashion leaders. Students will present three distinct runway concepts designed to push the boundaries of storytelling and style.
Plausible Futures
Under this year’s core theme, “Plausible Futures,” the show explores how our present-day reality shapes the wardrobe of tomorrow. Through three original concepts, “Alyve,” “Karcasse” and “Control,” the runway responds to climate change, rapidly advancing technologies, and shifting societal values. It offers an imaginative yet grounded vision of what fashion could realistically become.
A platform for reflection
Over the past four years, SMCL has grown from a simple runway into a true platform for creativity, experimentation, and critical reflection on fashion and its future. Through concepts that encourage students to question, analyze, and imagine plausible futures, the event invites students and audiences to rethink fashion and its role in the world.
An event produced by students
Guided by industry standards, students manage every pillar of the event: concept, marketing, sponsorship, and production. SMCL is a public showcase of their growth and an active bridge connecting emerging talent with industry leaders, media, and established creative professionals.
