Held at the Pavillon du Grand Quai du Port de Montréal, the fashion show will feature three evening presentations (5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9:30 PM), giving nearly 2,000 spectators the chance to admire the bold creations of our graduating Fashion Design students.

Sustainable fashion, local creativity, and exclusive collaborations
Signature 2025 is more than just a runway show — it’s a showcase of innovation, eco-responsibility, and cultural diversity. The SGNTR pop-up boutique returns with upcycled pieces from an exclusive collaboration with the iconic brand Parachute, thanks to the involvement of its co-founder Nicola Pelly. The boutique will also feature original creations from emerging LaSalle College graduates, alongside archival pieces from the late designer Valérie Dumaine, with proceeds supporting a foundation in her name.
“The pop-up boutique strengthens the #WearItWithPride movement by inviting the public to celebrate local creativity and support tomorrow’s talents,” says Andrew McNally, Dean of Fashion at LaSalle College.
Over 90% of the accessories showcased on the runway will be crafted from upcycled materials. Partnerships with Cardinal of Canada and Télio highlight our students’ commitment to sustainable fashion, through projects like #SurcyclageCachemire and the Télio Impact Award, which will honor a creation that incorporates the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Major collaborations and a meaningful tribute
This year’s edition will also feature several grandiose partnerships:
- A collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, where students designed unique pieces from the company’s surplus textiles.
- A partnership with the McCord Stewart Museum, presenting a contemporary reinterpretation of the exhibition Costume Balls – Dressing Up History, 1870–1927. These works will be displayed at the museum’s atrium starting May 26.
- In collaboration with KWE!, the Tressages project will blend the iconic creations of Jean-Claude Poitras with the craftsmanship of 11 Indigenous artists — a unique encounter between heritage and contemporary fashion.
A special tribute will honor Valérie Dumaine, a 1997 LaSalle College graduate and pioneer of ethical fashion, who passed away too soon. An annual scholarship in her name will support emerging designers who merge sustainability, aesthetics, and innovation.
A spokesperson who embodies the spirit of the event
Multidisciplinary artist Éléonore Lagacé returns this year as the event’s spokesperson. Known for her bold style and passion for free, expressive fashion, she perfectly embodies the essence of Signature.
