LaSalle College at Igloofest
On Thursday, January 25, 2024, the College invited its students and staff to celebrate the start of the semester at the world's coldest festival!
The evening kicked off at around 7:30 p.m., when ticketholders made their way to the VIP entrance and onto the terrace reserved for the College for the occasion. In line, fur, colorful snowsuits, ski goggles and an array of extravagant styles paraded onward.
Once on the terrace, our students were greeted with holographic LaSalle College fanny packs. CMD, the first artist of the evening, fired up the first dance steps of the night on the VIP Sapporo terrace.
On the festival site, students and staff take advantage of the various activities on offer. Slides, food trucks, toasted marshmallows, AR photo booths, a ball pit and aerobic dance are all at work to get festivalgoers in the mood.
At 8:30 p.m., DJ Glowal sets the crowd alight in preparation for the arrival of main artist Stephan Bodzin.
DJ and music producer Stephan Bodzin is a hugely influential artist on the global techno scene. Since 2007, the German artist has been captivating crowds at his shows with his experimental, authentic melodies.
Throughout the evening, we saw our students dancing, excited to be part of this first edition of LaSalle College at Igloofest! A great initiative from Student Affairs.
